The Blogger.com service (owned by Google) is still the easiest way to start a blog. I use it for both blogs and “regular” web sites and apart from some minor issues, I am generally happy with it. WordPress.com is an excellent alternative to Blogger.com and is liked better by some people.

The Blogger team has launched a Blogger Help YouTube Channel for “all you visual learners who want to add features to your blog, but

don’t have the patience to browse the help articles. There you can find videos that show you step by step how to use Blogger features” (see below).
